Evaluating Intensive Land Use In City Based On Ecological Security

The fundamental reality in our country is that we have a very large number of population and not enough land. With the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization, the contradiction between people and land, especially contradictions between urban construction land expansion and arable land protection has become increasingly acute, and people paid insufficient attention to ecological construction in urban land use constraining the economic benefits of urban land use and the prospect of sustainable use. In this context, carry out evaluation of urban land use based on ecological security; improve the economic and ecological benefits of city land continuously. It will benefit to optimize allocation of the urban land resources and protect the existing urban landscape, achieving sustainable development.In this paper, choose ecological security as the perspective; explore the meaning, evaluation system and pattern of intensive urban land use from two dimensions of intensive land use and ecological security. Using Nan'an District of Chongqing as theResearch object, evaluating intensive land use in city based on ecological security. The main contents and conclusions as follows:(1) The paper analyzing with related theory and existing research results about intensive land use and ecological security, propose the content of intensive urban land use based on ecological security.(2) Establish comprehensive evaluation index system of intensive urban land use based on ecological security. It is a total of 7 project level, 32 sub-indexes, as macro-evaluation index system. Evaluation in meso-scale is accordance with the same principles of index construction and reference to macro indicators, select evaluation index system for each functional area.(3) According to administrative boundaries and development patterns, Nan'an can be divided into five groups as the unit of the macroscopic evaluation. Calculate the score that intensive land use in city based on ecological security of these groups in 2003 and 2009 by expert scoring method, AHP. The results show that compared 2009 with 2003, the intensive land use score of each groups significantly increased and the groups of highest and lowest score are same, it is a result of land intensive and ecological constraints, conforms the social and economic development pattern of Nan'an. Select typical residential, commercial and industrial areas as object of meso-scale evaluation, compared the evaluation results with intensity grading standards can be drawn that these three types of functional areas are in moderate use.(4) Propose three urban land use patterns based on ecological security after generalizing land use patterns of developed countries and regions, they are centralized parcel - general intensive pattern, dispersed groups - intensive pattern along the axis and centralized - decentralized mixed intensive pattern. Finally, choose the right pattern with actual situation of Nan'an.
