Chongqing City Metropolitan Area Urban Land Intensive Use

With the acceleration of urbanization and industrialization, the supplies and the demands of the land resource are taking on an unbalanced condition, and the problem on how to use the land resource intensively has become one of the key factors in economy-social development and the focus of every antinomies. Now the fashion urban-land use of our country is on the period of interim from extensive to intensive, and the level of land intensive use of most cities is still low. It becomes a research hotspot of land subject, especially in the land use study, how to distribute felicitously the limit land resource in each industry and each department, and advance the land resource use more intensive and sustainable.On the base of the advanced theories, research methods from home and abroad, this paper evaluates the status quo and the potential of urban-land intensive utilization of Chongqing City by the way of colligation evaluating, sets up the colligation indexes system, figures the level of intensive land utilization by mathematics methods, and analyzes the characters, potential level and the developing direction of intensive use, also puts forward some suggestions.The paper first analyzes and evaluates the status quo of urban-land intensive utilization of Chongqng City by the way of mathematics, bringing forward the main characters: the land use configuration without reason, the level of intensive use advanced year after year, the degree asymmetric and the district diversity obvious. Then it analyzes the reasons resulting in the status. After that, the paper puts forward an evaluation indexes system, adopts the colligation evaluating method to calculate the urban-land intensive level of Chongqing City, brings forward the developing direction and gains the follow results: (1) The synthetic value of the urban-land intensive use potential of Chongqing City is 3.2091, situating the second in fifth; (2) The district diversity of the urban-land intensive use potential of Chongqing City is obvious; (3) Except the plow-land index, any other all have biggish potential to empolder in the all indexes which reflects the urban-land intensive use potential of Chongqing City. According to the demonstration study, lastly it makes some countermeasure suggestions of urban-land intensive use.
