Urban land is the basis of the city economic and social development and the effective supply of urban land is the important guarantee for urban economic development. With the development of urbanization and industrialization, the demand of urban construction land is constantly increasing. It faces enormous pressure between the supply of urban land and the aim of dynamic balance of total cultivated land. On the one hand, to protect valuable farmland resources; On the other hand, Phenomenon of inefficient use of urban land, extensive development of idle land are widely existed, the contradiction between supply and demand of land become increasing sharp. Except for intensive use of land is an important way to achieve economic growth pattern changing. Therefore, Launching the appraise of urban land intensively utilization, and constantly improving the utilization effciency of urban land, can promote rational distribution and rational utilization of the urban land resource, transform epitaxy expand to the combination of epitaxy expand and latent power expand, take the sustainable development road. The paper bases on the research of the urban land in intensive using and absorbed the connotations & principles & characteristics & types and researching theory from domestic and foreign research in using intensive land. The research followed the principle and goal of the urban land in intensive using. The paper selected 16 indexs from press & state and response. Using the PSR system as the model of the research of the urban land, at the same time, using the method of Grey relational analysis evaluated the research of the urban land from 2003 to 2008. The result shows as follow:Urban land intensive use is a complex system problem. Pressure & state and response (PSR) frame model can reveal the person and the land in land use of interaction, so the paper based on chain relations PSR frame model and set up base land intensive use of Beibei. The index system of evaluation and research by selecting pressure index, status indicators and response of the three indexes of Beibei with 16 pieces statures index evaluated intensive land use. The result is consistent with actual actual situation. This paper adopts the grey relational analysis method to the current level of land intensive use evaluation. The result shows that the current urban land intensive use from 2003 to 2008 degree has continued to rise. Intensive utilization of land degree of Beibei city increased slowly from 2003 to 2005. Total land intensive use level was from 0.4-0.6, namely between low-alcohol intensive use. But the urban land intensive use increased faster since 2005 to 2008. Degree of the general intensive use level from 0.6 to 0.8. The city of Beibei intensive land use in the overall levelâ…£level, namely in moderate intensive use. The 2008 beibei comprehensive level intensive land use is 0.7554, namely in moderate intensive use of that level of land intensive use current later in the development process have certain potential can be improved.Land intensive use of Beibei is a dynamic process, and has a certain phase change. Promising to achieve the goal of intensive land use of land use must be through timely perfect control and the constantly repeatedly to realize. Continuously improve urban economic development level, at the same time, to reduce the negative pressure, keep land land resources use good health condition, raise resource utilization and sustainability. Finally, this paper bases on evaluation and analysis on land intensive use of Beibei and put forword specific, reasonable and feasible land intensive use, measures and recommendations. To build up a good beibei urban land use patterns and advancing the intensive utilization of land and the ecological environment of the benign circulation provides referential reference.
