Currently, contradictions between economy and environment are becoming increasingly acute, and sustainable development has become a consensus worldwide. In China there have been a lot of industrial parks, while most of which pursue economic development on the cost of resources, therefore, Chinese government are also rapidly promoting the development of eco-industrial park in recent years.Industrial chain design is the core of the construction of eco-industrial park, but there is no fixed procedure of design. Even some industrial parks pursue "the longer the better, the more the merrier" regardless of the specific circumstances, resulting in increased costs and waste of resources. Thus it is necessary to study symbiosis evolution principle of industrial parks, analyze economic and environmental benefit brought by symbiosis and put forward a fixed procedure of industrial chain design, in order to provide suggestions for eco-industrial park's management.Based on self- organization law of complicated system, this article studied symbiosis principle, and then built a system dynamic model.Finally, taking Taixing fine chemical park as an example, symbiosis potentialities were analyzed and suggestions were put forward by Taixing system dynamic model's simulation.The Maximum Flux principle and Self-organized Feature Map (SOM) were applied in the studies of the evolution of immature industrial park with two cases. The order parameter§can be used to compare time sequence of symbiosis benefit of a park, but it can't reflect the difference of symbiosis benefit between different parks. Then the calculation was modified and a new§was proposed. After being compared with the associate degree indicator and exchange amount indicator.§was defined as symbiosis evolution efficiency index, and Kalundborg industrial park's§value 2.87 in 2005 was defined as standard value of symbiosis evolution. The suggestion was also put forward that as two industrial parks'§values have rising year after year with little interference of people, from 0.04 and 1.33 to 1.51 and 1.675 respectively. They are still much smaller than Kalundborg industrial park's§value in 2005.Thus leaders of the industrial park should rationally guide the development based on its spontaneous forming process, to promote better and quicker development of the parks in long term.After analyzing advantages and disadvantages of different models, an agent-based system dynamic model were proposed. First according to agent-based model, the research objects were classified as company agent, environment agent, resource agent, market agent, and each agent has its attributes and behaviors. Second according to system dynamic model, the system state variables and cause-and-effect relations were defined. As the behaviors of agents influence the value of state variables, equations can be used to combine two models. Thus the framework of agent-based system dynamic model was built.Taking Taixing fine chemical industrial park as an example,16 enterprises which form the association were studied, and Taixing industrial park's system dynamic model was built with statistics and equations. Both reality check and sensitivity check were simulated to test model's effectiveness. By simulating the model, symbiosis benefits,the influence to other enterprise of products price of core enterprises, by-product price's influence, governmental subsidy's influence and future symbiosis potentialities were analyzed, thus the advice government should invite companies to prolonging industrial chain was brought up.Based on the above conclusions, Taixing industrial park's industrial chain design was proposed by analyzing the industrial chain's structure and industry biocoenosis.
