The Analyze Of The Dynamic Evolution Of China's Manufactured Exports' Technical Structure

A country's foreign trade structure is the key of a country in the world economy in which trade market position. After China's reform and opening up, its economy developed rapidly, and the scale of foreign trade expanded.The main products in the exports has changed, and technological structure of manufactured exports are constantly changing. Therefore, in this article, I use Fan Gang's index of revealed technological value-added to calculate the structure of the BRICs'technology of exports of manufactures which displayed in 2001,2003,2005,2007 and 2009. And analysis China's trend of technological structure of manufactured exports in the 21st century, compare Chinese technological structure of manufactured exports with the other three countries of the BRICs. Then According to the results, we get that China's manufactured exports has arrived at which level of technical structure and its development characteristics of trade in manufactured exports.This paper reviews the existing literature and relevant theoretical knowledge to pave the way to described the Chinese technological structure of manufactured exports, uses the Index of revealed technological value-added to calculate. Finally gets a variety of revealed technological value-added of manufactured exports of the BRICs. By charts, this paper finishes the comparative analysis of China's changes of manufactured exports technological structure, to draw two conclusions. First, in recent years, the share of products with higher technical content in China's manufactured exports is increasing. The figures of the technological structure of manufactured exports are to the right, it is that the technical structure of manufactured exports is on the rise. But there is no significant increase of product categories. So the paper speculates that China is mainly through the path of the intensive margin of trade growth to achieve export growth. Second, With the comparison of the other three countries of the BRICs, it is found that the proportion of high-tech products in the technical structure of Chinese exports of manufactured goods is lower than Brazil and Russia, and the share of low technology products in the exports is gradually losing advantage compared to India. According to the current situation, China is likely to fall into "middle-income trap "According to the conclusions in the article, the author puts forward some policy recommendations to enhance our technology structure of manufactured exports, optimize the structure of the domestic industry.
