Research On Regional Innovation System With The New Institutional Economics Perspective

With the rapid development of world economy and the coming of the Knowledge Economy Age, innovations become the important factor to promote the country or region to enhance the competitiveness. National innovation systems first received the academic attention, and then since the mid-1990s, relevant literatures about "regional innovation system" are growing rapidly, even some scholars believed that the research of regional innovation system is more practical significance. But after analyzing the overall status of development of international and domestic academic, you can sense that the research on regional innovation system is still very immature, the concept is still not clear, the system is not perfect, and the theoretical system lack the strong support. More unfortunately, Shanghai is the forward position of China's economic development, and also the more densely areas of innovation, but the comprehensive study of regional innovation system of Shanghai city almost be called a blank. After finding out the history and status of international and domestic research on regional innovation system, this article attempts to research regional innovation system with the New Institutional Economics perspective, and then establishes the new theoretical system. In practice, this article researches the history and status of development of regional Innovation System in Shanghai, and analysis qualitatively and quantitatively the influence of innovation in regional innovation system in Shanghai.This article includes three parts, five chapters. The first part is an introduction, describes the research background of this article, points out the necessity and urgency of this study, and declares the research method and framework of this article. The second part is the main part of the article, including the second chapter, the third chapter and the fourth chapter. The second chapter is the Review of the overall situation. By "literature citation search method" to analysis domestic and international literatures on the Regional Innovation System, New Institutional Economics and the intersection of the two, and masters the international and domestic situation of the three areas of research, the focus and the lack of the research; The third chapter is the Construction of the theoretical system, on the basis of previous research, combines with my understanding to rearrange the Regional Innovation Systems theory system with the New Institutional Economics perspective. On the basis of the well-defined concept, this theory system consists of three parts:structure, contact and institutional influence, in structure Innovation Subject adds the new "consumer groups" concept, and redefines the concept of innovation object. Contact has two aspects:the internal and the external, institutional influence has three perspectives:the formal institutional, the informal institutional and the institutional change; The fourth chapter is practical research, collects and sorts data, uses the SPSS analysis software, by the methods of principal component analysis and regression analysis, analysis the time series and institutional inflation of the regional innovation system in Shanghai. From the Study we will found that during the historical process of the regional innovation system in Shanghai, the institutional plays a role. From the Results of the analysis in the quantitative indicators we can see that the correlation coefficient of the system of institutional index of Regional Innovation System in Shanghai and the index of Regional Innovation System in Shanghai is 0.832, correlation is higher. The third part is Conclusion and outlook, summarizes the main conclusions of this study and the innovation points, and pointed out the direction for further research.
