A Study On Human Capital And Economic Growth Equality In The Northwest

Before 70's last century, people's wealth view is pursuit of material wealth accumulation; the economic world is a world of GDP, and growth speed of GDP almost becomes the only criterion which measures the operation quality of an economy. Later it was found that economic growth is not one-dimensional, and it also includes such as stability, equitableness, sustainability. etc. So the concept of the economic growth is a multidimensional, complex integrated system. Economic growth, besides quantity aspect, still includes rich contends involving the quality aspect, then economic growth quality theory arises at the historic moment. The rise of human capital theory, in fact, was slightly earlier than economic growth quality theory. At the beginning, human capital was mainly introduced into theory analysis as economic growth factor, and the further explanation and decomposition of Solow Surplus was its main achievement. Then the human capital theory gained considerable progress, and were also quoted and used for reference by the other economics fields. Many difficulties which were not completely solved got satisfactory answers with human capital theory, and there were no lack of contents closely related the quality of economic growth. The relationship of human capital theory and economic growth quality theory drew more closely, and many scholars have begun to explore their connection, but the researches still are not many.Based on the theoretical background above, the paper tries to do a theoretical analysis and empirical research on the relationship between the human capital and the economic growth quality. The contents of the two concepts are very broad, so this paper just selects several important aspects to expounded, and further studies are required on the other aspects. Then, based on the theoretical basis above, this paper conducted an empirical analysis about the human capital and economic growth quality of the northwestern region. and found that the level of human capital and economic growth quality is very low in northwestern, so the development of the western region started the growth speed of northwest region, meanwhile other aspects of economic growth quality is still attainment. Also it was found that the effect human promotes economic growth quality is quite obvious, so whether based on a people-oriented principle or economic development, we should give the purpose of human capital investment and development with enough attention.
