The Study On Tourism Development In Transformation Of The Resource-Based City

The resource-based city is a special type of city, its development problems especially transformation triggered discussion of numerous scholars at home and abroad. In China, there are a large number of the Resource-based city which has met many contradictions and difficulties in the development recently, and the tourism industry is in the ascendant. Can we establish some special connection between them? Can we develop tourism in the resource-based city to promote its transformation effectively? This problem has been discussed in this article. The paper is divided into three sections:Section one: the foundation of the study, expatiates the research background and significance, content and method, technical route firstly. Then defines the related concepts, discusses the research progress at home and abroad about the resource-based city, the research progress at home and abroad about the resource-based city with tourism. Uses regional economics, tourism geography and other related discipline theories as the theoretical pillar.Section two: the theory study, firstly combs the amount, distribution and classification of the resource-based city in our country, analyzes its three problems in sustainable development including resources and environment, economic development and social development, leads the necessity of resource-based cities transformation. By mining the regularity of industrial development, urban development and environment evolution of the resource-based city, draws the opportune time in transformation of the resource-based city. By the analysis of the problems and the understanding of development regularity of the resource-based city, puts forward the transformation of resource-based city including economic transformation, social transformation and environmental transformation. Then based on the analysis of the three dilemmas in transformation of the resource-based city, puts forward there significances by developing tourism including economy, society and environment, and analyzes the advantages to develop tourism in the resource-based city, which illustrates the feasibility of developing tourism in the resource-based city. Finally puts forward all kinds of tourism development paths, direct paths including industry tourism path, tourism and substituted industry grafting path, tourism comprehensive development path, indirect paths include tourism commodity base construction path, tourism personnel transmission path, and lists various successful cases both at home and abroad, proves the feasibility of developing tourism in transformation of the resource-based city again.Section three: empirical study, firstly analyses the situation and existing problems of the typical resource-based city Ma'anshan city in its economic development, social development, resources environment, concludes the necessity of transformation in Ma'anshan city, and concludes that Ma'anshan is in mature boom which is the optimal opportunity of the resource-based city. Through the development of the tourism economic indexes, tourism industries and source market, concludes that the present situation of Ma'anshan tourism is good. And explains the feasibility of developing tourism through analyzing the advantages and effects in transformation of Ma'anshan. At last proposes the comprehensive development strategy and measures of Ma'anshan tourism, including: analyses the development problems of Ma'anshan tourism, puts forward the development strategy of Ma'anshan tourism, puts forward the space layout"one area and five districts"of Ma'anshan city, puts forward the product development conception including cultural tour products, industrial tour products, urban leisure tour products, ecological holiday tour products, puts forward the idea of source market pertinence, and puts forward the seven security measures of Ma'anshan tourism.
