Study On The Multi-national Corporations' Development Strategy In Xinjiang

Playing an active role of transnational corporations in economic development is the purpose of attracting foreign investment. To achieve the purpose, we should to study on the status and the development trend of TNCs, and take measures to promote its development.The study on the Multi-national Corporations'Development Strategy in Xinjiang, can enrich the research on the development of multinational companies strategy in emerging markets, provide a reference to further exploring new markets for domestic enterprises, can also provide a reference for the Xinjiang government making decision to improve the software and hardware environment, and better to attract multinational investment.Firstly, start from the recalling of the development course of TNCs in the world and the FDI in China, and point out that TNCs'current strategy. Then, the paper studies the Siemens Healthcare's internal and external motives to enter in Xinjiang market. Analyzing the results and combining with the performance of the SWOT analysis, reveals that developmental strategy is being implemented by Siemens.The results of study on the above show that the overall foreign investment in Xinjiang is small-scale and its economic contribution is also smaller. Author of this paper believes that the government should play an essential role in the act to eliminate the limit factors on attracting Foreign Direct Investment.
