ABSTRACT: With the Development of construction industry, the construction technology and management level of Chinese construction enterprises is in a gradual increase, but the current enterprise management capabilities can't meet the business development and project management needs, and have gaps with the international advanced level. The Performance Excellence management model is effective method to promote enterprise competitive ability which the world-class successful enterprises recognize, provides a set of effective method and the evaluation criteria to obtain the splendid management achievements that helps enterprises to improve the competition ability and urge enterprise to pursue the excellent performance. Our country started the National Quality Award appraisal from 2001, devotes to popularizing the advanced management concepts and methods of Performance Excellence management model. In response to construction market competition and the rapid development of the construction industry, domestic construction enterprises need to implement Performance Excellence management model to compete with the world's leading construction enterprises. The purpose of this thesis is to give guidance recommendations for Performance Excellence management model's implementation in domestic construction enterprises, and let more enterprises implement and pay attention to it, thus improve domestic construction enterprises'management level and competitiveness.Firstly, it introduces the concept, composition, development course and criteria of performance excellence. Then the core values, characteristics and effect of implementing the Performance Excellence Management in construction enterprises are analyzed according to the management situation of domestic construction enterprises. Through the Analysis the situation of applying Performance Excellence Model and acquiring Performance Excellence award in domestic and foreign construction enterprises, the successful experience and inspiration of foreign enterprises, and the problems of domestic construction enterprises are summarized. On the above basis, the recommendations of implementing the Performance Excellence in construction enterprises are given, aspect from resource integration, project management, corporate culture, information construction, self-evaluation and applying the National Quality Award, including specific approaches of leadership, strategy, customers and markets, resources, processes management, measurement analysis and improvement, results of operations. There're 13 figures,1 table,56 references in this thesis.
