In recent years, along with the rapid economic development of Hefei, the city's scale expands unceasingly, and the urbanization of Hefei is further accelerating, meanwhile, the rapid growth of urban population and its frequent social and economic activities derived a lot of travel demands, how to meet those a lot of travel demand effectively, improve the transportation efficiency of Hefei has become an urgent practical problem which to be solved for the city's transportation departments.Facing this situation, the traffic transportation management department of Hefei realizes that only to speed up the development of public transport is a long-term policy to solve the travel difficult problem. This policy also gets the state, province and city government's strong support, and been given priority right from the policy, capital, urban land use and other aspects of public transport. However, urban public transport modes differ in investment and operating costs, services, safety, comfort, and it also differs in attraction strength for travelers and the result of improving the effect of urban transportation. Therefore, it needs to research the division of public transport modes of Hefei and analyses different factors on the population impact of travel mode choice.The paper reviewed current research on the basis of the domestic and international transportation, first, introduced the public transportation development present situation and recent planning of Hefei, and analyzed the characteristics of the four related urban public transport modes of Hefei, then probes into the main influence factors differentiate of Hefei public transport on this basis. Secondly, the paper introduced the theory and application of the main model about Transportation division which namely disaggregate model and disaggregate model, then according to the characteristics of the two kinds models and its related expansion forms and combined with the actual situation of the study about this paper, finally choice disaggregate model of MNL as a means of public transport mode split of Hefei; in the end of this paper, it Analyzed and researched the Public transport mode split model of MNL about Hefei, The main study includes:RP and SP survey residents travel, Survey data sorting, Public transport mode split model for the establishment of the utility function, using BIOGEME to solve the Public transport mode split model of Hefei and parameter test, then adjust the model parameters which according to the test results. Conducted a sensitivity analysis about Relevant factors of residents of public transport trips on the basis of determining the model available, Further, According to the results of sensitivity analysis and the public transportation development situation of Hefei, then it put forward the proposals of Public transport development about Hefei which can Provides reference for Relevant policy-making or policy decision departments.
