Applying Improved Travel Cost Method To Evaluate Agricultural Tourist Area's Leisure Values

With the rapid development of our social economy, industrialization and urbanization accelerated, human's demands of land resources rapidly expand, non-agriculturalization of farmland scale grow, the contradiction between human and land have become increasingly prominent, the aggravation of urban expansion and agricultural land loss has become focal point. Great opportunity cost of agricultural land makes the community more concern about urban sprawl and economic development and neglect of agricultural land protection. The big loss of farmland area, not only cannot guarantee food security, but cannot guarantee the sustainable development of society and economy. As a result, continue to support the development of city in the same time, we should pay more attention to the protection of farmland resources. This paper reveals the huge non-market values of farmland from the perspective of leisure values through the non-market evaluation method, hoping that the value of farmland can be known by public, stimulating the public involving in the campaign to protect farmland, limiting the scale of non-agriculturalization of farmland in a reasonable range.This paper firstly introduced the big background that the scale of non-agriculturalization land expand, and based on a large number of domestic and foreign literature, the proposed research methods, technology and possible routes of innovation are referenced. Then Combined with the investigation of three gorges orange sea for zhongxian agricultural tourist area,this article put the theory into practice. Structure of this article as follows:The first chapter:on the review and summarization of value evaluation home and abroad, the proposed research methods, technology and possible routes of innovation are referenced.Chapter 2:theoretical analysis section. The theoretical basis of leisure value assessment and other relevant theory are referenced. Chapter 3:methodology parts. The most popular method of leisure value assessment--Travel cost method (TCM) are introduced systematically. This part has discussed the basic principle, advantages and disadvantages, technical route respectively, laying the foundation for the application of improved travel costs interval analysis (TCIA).Chapter 4:empirical research section. use TCIA to evaluate the leisure value of Three Gorges Orange Sea Agritourism Area. Research results show that:the recreation value of Three Gorges Orange Sea Agritourism Area in 2010 is 55.32 million yuan.Chapter 5:the conclusion and discuss part. summarizes the conclusion of the whole text, and discuss the conclusion and method, puts forward the defects of the articles meanwhile.
