Since the 1980s along with the tide of information and technology, information service industry began to appear as a new industry, and the enormous social and economic development promoted. Their level of development has become the measure of a country's modernization and comprehensive national strength is one important indicator. Beijing, has a strong economic foundation, a complete infrastructure, well-developed service network, enriched cultural environment and quality of technology, development of information services in favorable conditions. Since 15th, Beijing vigorously promote the development of information service industry. In view of the development trend of information services in Beijing, it is necessary for scientific evaluation of this emerging industry, so a correct understanding of the level of development information services in Beijing.The paper based on existing information service industry research, comprehensive use of comparison analysis method and combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, the paper begins with the meaning of information service industry, establish reasonable evaluation index systems,evaluates the level of Beijing information service development in a full-scale way by exponential evaluation method. based on this, the paper take Beijing as an object of empirical study, and gives some suggestions about how to promote the quality of Beijing information service industry. The paper has an important theoretical and practical significance to clearly understand the status of Beijing information service industry and make reasonable policy.
