With the gradual penetration of economical globalization, the appearance of global buyer's market and the rapid development of new high-technology, a country must promote industrial competitiveness and go into the vehement competition in international market by the economic approach for developing its economy. Economic competition, in the final analysis, is industrial competition. The internationally industrial competition becomes the decisive factor of the international economic position for a country. Therefore, the academic research of industrial competition has been involved in many countries.Michael E. Porter, the professor of Harvard Business School in USA, is the initiator for the theory of industrial competition. He promoted well-known theory'diamond system', providing systemic analytical shape for industrial competition research. None theory is a accurate low at all, so does'diamond system'It has some shortages.The defects of'diamond system'are: not paid attention to the crucial role of the government; no emphasis on "innovation" factor; too stressed the opportunity; not highlight the cluster effect.Since'diamond system'still has many shortages, methods referred in this article indicated that normative analysis and practical analysis must be combined , which is based on the theories of National competitiveness, Competitive structure, Competitive resources and industrial cluster regional competitiveness. This article systematically analyzes from three aspects: the macro level, the medium level and micro level, Including: the role of government, resources, industrial structure, industry concentration, technological innovation and enterprise quality. Finally, the article offer some corresponding measures and politics.
