A Research On Government Regulation Of Food Safety Issues In China

Food is material basis of human survival and development, it has a great relevance for people's fitness and life security. With the growing economic power of China since its reform and opening up, people have increasing demands for living quality. Meanwhile, public focus on food safety has shifted from quantity to quality. In recent years, food safety status in our nation is not so good, frequent food safety accidents not only threatened people's lives, but also brought threats to national economic development, political stability and social security. So it is very important to study on government regulation of food safety. Therefore, it have the extremely important promoting action for which we should strengthen to our country food safety management research, the establishment and the consummation food safety system, implement the effective food security countermeasure, improve and promotes our country food safety management and reduce food harm occurrence, reduce the government service the pressure, improve the lives of the people level. Regarding socialist market economy initial stage, and the economical high speed development, the economy are occupying reforming period of China, every kinds of food security problem are processed effectively and steadily, which we should face and earnestly study the major issue settled.In such a background, this paper studied on the current food safety regulatory system of China, analysis on this system from both Institutional, regulatory, technology and the mechanism of promote, and then find out the problems and causes. After studied the experience of management with the food safety regulatory system abroad. In this paper the strategy is advanced for the government regulation on the food security of China, to direct the related regulation.
