The Study On The Course Development Of Passenger Service Major In The Railway Vocational School

In recent years, our country has made a huge investment in construction of dedicated passenger line and high speed railway to adapt to the economy development of society and competitive market of passenger transit, so the MU trains and high speed passenger trains are running on the track and the railway enters a period of rapid growth. In order to make good hardware facilities and equipment more efficient, the railway units needs the high quality passenger service personnel, which makes further improvement on the passenger service quality. According to the Ministry of Railways "MU Trains Station Car Passenger Service Personnel Standard", there is a big gap between the standard and the quality of the present passenger service personnel.On the basis of CBE and analyzing the content and characteristics of railway passenger service job,this paper summarizes the qualities and career ability that the railway passenger service personnel should possess. Furthermore, the author analyzes the current conditions and some existing problems of the railway passenger service personnel training in the secondary vocational school and draws the conclusion that it is necessary to train the railway passenger service personnel for profession. This paper adopts synthetic capability as the guiding vocational curriculum. And through the analysis method of ability and quality, this paper studies the following aspects: setting course objectives of the curriculum development about the railway passenger service major, the course content selection, the course content organization, the course implementation and evaluation. The curriculum system for the railway passenger service major come into being and it is with the following characteristics: shaping good major image, providing better service, enhancing good expression and communication skill, improving the professional level.This paper includes six parts:Firstly, this paper discusses the background of selecting the topic, the analysis of the related research current situation, the research purpose, the research significance and the research methods. Chapter two summarizes specific contents and characteristics of the railway passenger service job and the qualities and career ability that the railway passenger service personnel should possess. Chapter three analyzes the current state and problems of the training railway passenger service personnel in railway secondary vocational school in our country, puts forward the solutions and explains the necessaries of opening the railway passenger service major. Chapter four makes a brief introduction on the mode of the current course development in the vocational education, sets the"ability basis"as the academic base for the course development and explains the principles and procedures of the course developments. Chapter five which is the main chapter elaborates on the setting course objectives and selecting the teaching contents of passenger service major using the curriculum outlook based on the CBT as the guidance and analysizing ability and quality through the three aspects: basic quality, key ability and professional ability and then makes education of calendar of plan through the content of longitudinal and transversal organization. Chapter six expatiates the key factors such as the student, the teacher, the textbook, the training base etc. that makes an effect on curriculum implementation, puts forward some proposals on the curriculum implementation of passenger service major and introduces briefly principles and procedures of the course evaluation.
