A Research On Supply Chain Inventory Control In Automobile Enterprises

According to statistics, China's auto production and sales both exceeded 18 million last year, to be a truly great power cars. Automotive industry has become a pillar industry in China, but our automotive logistics, especially supply chain logistics still at an early stage, the advance of globalization has brought opportunities and challenges. Market demands are ever-changing, product cycle time are more and more concentrated,and level of service can not keep up the pace of developed mature auto market, supply chain inventory levels are always increasing, and control costs continue to rise, which greatly reduced the market competitiveness of enterprises. Under this, researching the automotive supply chain inventory becomes significant.In this paper, I studied inventory problem throw the theory of the automotive supply chain. Full six chapters, in the first chapter, point out the research background, objectives, main contents and research methods.ChapterⅡ,I first described the concepts and theories about supply chain management and inventory management, analyzed several traditional models and strategies, and application of the model conditions and solution method, include newsboy model,EOQ,order point method, and so on, which laid the paper supply chain inventory model theory. Based on the shortcomings, of traditional inventory model and control strategy, I introduced several management methods of advanced supply chain inventory, including VMI, JMI and CPFR, etc. to establish the foundation of building supply chain inventory model.ChapterⅢ,I analyzed, the current status of the. Chinese automotive industry, highlighted the composition of the automotive supply chain structure, and its characteristics and control methods and strategy, and analyzed the structure of supply chain. For the logistics operation mode about automotive products and parts in this chapter, and the characteristics of the automotive supply chain, I proposed some control strategy and integrated approach should be adopted. which will be the structural basis of inventory model about automotive supply chain.ChapterⅣ,based on the theory of previous chapters, I made the structure to be further optimized according to the automotive supply chain structure and composition, and established a stochastic demand inventory model for auto companies' spare parts, Discussed the calculation of the model by assumption, and verified the validity of model and calculation method with Example. Chapter V,I further studied of the inventory control model of three levels about car companies, and solved it, in the sametime, I verified the feasibility of the model by combining with the practical application.According to the parameters and service level, I determine the best order quantity and optimal cost about all levels of the supply chain by MATLAB. So, I verified the feasibility of the model, which reflecting the value of the practical application of the model.Conclusion and outlook.
