Research On The Relationship Of Team Leader Characteristics, Team Learning Capability And Team Creativity

Team learning capability and team creativity are the two most important capabilities of (R&D) teams, and they determine the level of (R&D) Team effectiveness, then team leader (characteristics) make a critical influence on team learning capability and team creativity. However, there are scarce research on how the team leader (characteristics) affect team learning capability and team creativity. Therefore, research on how team leader(characteristics) affect team learning capability and team creativity has important theoretical and significance application value. In this paper, we study the relationship between team leader (characteristics), team learning capability and team creativity by theoretical analysis and empirical research methods, in order to reveal the relationship between the three variables, then provide theoretical basis and countermeasures to enterprise (R&D) team to enhance team learning capability and team creativity.In this paper, we review abundant literature research firstly, compile the development of team leadership theory, summarize the concepts, models and research results of team learning capability and team creativity, point out the significance of this study according to the research results. Based on the literature review and theoretical analysis, we propose theoretical model and research hypotheses of this paper, and then through survey research we collect first-hand data. And empirical test theoretical model and research hypotheses through SPSS statistical software. Through theoretical analysis and empirical testing, we get the conclusions as following:1. In the process of leading the team, team leader should show the two kinds of leadership: transactional and transformational leadership. Stress the importance of transactional leadership, also point out that material incentive and other means are equally important to team learning capability and team creativity.2. Team leader can enhance team learning capability in order to enhance team creativity. Team learning capability plays a better intermediary role on team leader affect team creativity. And team learning capability also has significant influence on team creativity.3. Team leader should create a team atmosphere with a certain pressure. If team leader take attention and meet employees'personal needs immediately, this kind of behavior can't make a significant influence on team learning capability and team creativity, but weaken the power of employees to learn and create. And not benefit for the development of team.
