Under the environment of more and more intense competition and changing customer's need, supply chain enterprise, ability of knowledge acquisition, creation, sharing, dissemination and application become the key elements of supply chain enterprise competitiveness, knowledge management become the imperative requirement of supply chain management in knowledge-based economy environment. The purpose of knowledge management is that: promoting knowledge transfer and sharing, making the core enterprise, suppliers and customers into one, profit sharing, risk sharing, operating under coordination and optimization, so as to enhance supply chain performance. In this paper, we study the relevant inside and outside academic research firstly. Then, theoretical hypotheses about knowledge sharing, supply chain capability and supply chain performance will be formed and the questionnaire will be designed by the method of five-point Likert Scale. In order to validate the theoretical hypotheses proposed above in Automotive supply chain, we gather data via nearly 200 questionnaire. Statistics software such as SPSS and AMOS are used to analyze the data. Establish a Structural Equation Model(SEM) which consists of Knowledge Sharing, Supply Chain Capability and Supply Chain Performance. Hypotheses are proved through the relationship among three factors. This article divide supply chain capability into static capacity and dynamic capacity, and static capacity include operational capability and process management capability, dynamic capability include product innovation, restructuring and change, learning and the absorptive capacity. Empirical results show that: different types of knowledge sharing impact on the ability of the supply chain, and further affect supply chain performance. Supply chain capability as an intermediary variable played a brokering role in the relationship between knowledge-sharing and the supply chain performance. This paper consider the knowledge-sharing as the independent variables and supply chain performance as a dependent variable, such treatment is rare in China at present. At the same time, the knowledge sharing have been classified according to different types of knowledge, and supply chain dynamic capability and static capability concepts have been re-defined with a certain amount of innovation based on the enterprise capability, dynamic capability theoretical study and the characteristics of supply chain. This paper's contribution also lies in establishing a systematic model about knowledge-sharing, supply chain capability and supply chain performance.
