Paternalistic leadership which f ormed gradually in “Fam ily Cuture” an d other cu ltures has becom e a new leader behavior and existe d in all kinds of ente rprises. People thought paternalistic leadership only appeared in fam ily enterprises before, but now it is no longer a patent of fam ily enterprises proved by m ore and m ore m anagement practice as the development of m arket econom y. Paternalistic leader ship has been im itated by lots of entrepreneurs am ong private enterp rises, corporate enterprises and state-owned enterprises. The theories about paternalis tic leadership is a popular research topic discussed by managerialist from different countries (regions), especially the theories raised by Zhen boxun and other managerialists in Taiwan. They divided pater nalistic lea dership in to three dimensions : authority, benevolence, virtue. W hat's more, the th ree values play a ro le interactively rather than individually. The e ffective way of the th ree dimensions influenced a lot to em ployees' satisfaction.The paper conducts theoretical and em pirical study of the em ployees' satisfaction on paternalistic leade rship. It is based on the pr evious stud ies of paterna listic leade rship and analyzes, teases and concludes m ore influent ial and sys tematic docum ents. Me anwhile the author did a field research in the case company with necessary questions. It describes in detail on two ch ief executiv es' paternal istic leaders hip and an alyzes the enterp rise's different development situations and endings. The pape r compares employees' perception, enterprise development situation and personal outcom es unde r different com binations of leadership model. The author m akes full us e of literature method, case analy sis method, interviewing method to conduct a qualitative research and com e to a conclusion that different paternalistic leadership have different im pacts on employees' satisfaction. Also, different combinations of three d imensions of paternalistic leadership have different influenc es. High authority, low virtue and low benevolence reduce employees' satisfaction; the paternalistic leadership of low authority, high benevolence and high virtue can i mprove employees' s atisfaction, mobilize their enthusiasm, spark their initia tive and then improving enterprise e fficiency has become leaders' pursuing target.
