Under the new era,"mass entrepreneurship and innovation" are prevalent.The innovation capability of an enterprise is an important indicator of the core competitiveness of an enterprise,and the innovation performance of the entire enterprise can not be separated from the innovation behavior of every employee.Body,leadership style is an important variable affecting employee innovation behavior.As a leadership style rooted in Chinese culture,paternalistic leadership is widespread in Chinese enterprises and its explanatory power to employee innovation can not be ignored.Employee attitude,as the employee's perception of the psychological variables of the organizational situation,will directly determine the employee's behavior when it is directly influenced by the leadership style.At the same time,the employee's cognitive style also affects the employee's psychology and behavior.Therefore,from the perspective of the interaction between leadership style and personal cognitive style,this study explores the influence of paternalistic leadership on employee innovative behavior in the Chinese context,which is of great significance to effectively motivate employees to spark the spark of innovation.Based on this,this study proposes research hypotheses through literature research and constructs a theoretical model of the influence of paternalistic leadership with employee attitudes as an intermediary variable and adaptive cognition style as a regulator variable on employee innovation behaviors.Then,a questionnaire survey method is used to select two Two periods of data were collected for each time period.In the first phase,a total of 400 questionnaires were distributed,recycling effective questionnaire 356 copies,and 356 valid objects were distributed in the second phase according to the first phase,but due to replacement of leaders,replacement of companies,etc.Need to remove six questionnaires.Therefore,in this study,there were 356 valid questionnaires for the two phases.Due to the limitations of time,the interval between the first and second phases of the study was 12 months.In terms of research methods,this article relied on SPSS 19.0 statistical analysissoftware to perform descriptive statistical analysis,reliability and validity analysis,confirmatory factor analysis,and mediate effect test of employee attitudes.The SPSS19.0 statistical analysis software was also applied to the data of the second phase to conduct descriptive statistical analysis,mediate effect test of employee attitude,and adjustment effect test of employee adaptive cognitive style.Finally,according to the statistical results obtained by the statistical analysis software,the hypothesis is verified and it is found that all the hypotheses proposed in this paper can be established.The main conclusions of this study are: As time goes by,the positive correlation between benevolent leadership and employee innovation behavior will be weakened due to the negative adjustment of adaptive cognitive style,and the negative correlation between authoritarian leadership and employee innovation behavior will be due to adaptation.The negative adjustment of cognitive style is weakened.Finally,based on the empirical research results,the research conclusions are drawn,and the limitations and future prospects of the research are put forward.
