Research SOP Application In HAWEL Logistics Company

China's food cold-chain hasn't form system, hundreds of thousands of tons of food in the transport process all need fresh, but compared with the developed countries, the disparity between all very obvious. To a certain extent, cold-chain logistics development lag affects the sustainable development of food industry.The development of cold-chain industry is inseparable from the development of enterprise, and the development of enterprise is also indivisible from the perfect management system. There is a huge gap on the management standard between domestic cold-chain logistics enterprise and similar foreign enterprises, especially on useage of the standard operating procedures.This thesis studied the the application of SOP in HAWEI which is the leading cold-chain logistics enterprise in the world. HAWEI Group was established in Chicago, USA, in 1974. HAWEI Group is a leader in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Cold Chain Logistics. The research on SOP involved several procedures of the daily operation, including receiving and transporting and inventory control. Based on the analysis, the thesis puts forward several problems, including the renew frequency of SOP cannot match business development speed, cannot adapt existing operation process, the insufficient training, to strengthen the implementation and etc. This thesis also analysed the cause, and finally put forward the corresponding improvement measures, such as strengthen business matching with SOP, carry out the SOP updated in the daily work, strengthen the training of SOP and ensure SOP is to be strictly implemented and etc. Expect SOP can play a more important role in the operation of cold chain logistics enterprises.
