Contextual performance is an important discovery. It not only has changed the definition of performance, but also has made academic research about performance opened up new areas. At present, contextual performance is still in the introduction stage, the relevant empirical research is relatively scarce. Therefore, it is very necessary to find the internal mechanism of employees'contextual performance.Based on the 194 staffs of the Guangdong region conducted a questionnaire survey, it uses empirical methods to reveal the intrinsic mechanism of authentic leadership, psychological empowerment and contextual performance. The results achieved in this paper are:1. By exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, verify the construct validity of authentic leadership, psychological empowerment and contextual performance. By reliability analysis, prove they have good reliability.2. By the correlation analysis, find that authentic leadership not only has a positive influence on the dimensions of psychological empowerment, but also are significant positive correlation between the various dimensions of performance.3. Through regression analysis, find that psychological empowerment has a significant positive effect on the dimensions of contextual performance, while the dimensions of psychological empowerment play a partly mediating role in the relationship between authentic leadership and contextual performance.4. Through structural equation modeling analysis, show that self-efficacy plays a fully mediated role between balanced processing and contextual performance, meaning plays a fully mediated role between internalized moral perspective and the interpersonal facilitation dimension of contextual performance.Conclusions show that managers should focus on improving moral qualities, set an example for employees to improve the level of psychological empowerment of employees, make employees more involved in work and improve the overall performance level.
