Inter-provincial Transfer Of Pension Continuation Method

With the development of industrialization and urbanization in China, social pension insurance system gradually replaces the traditional patterns of family pension. It becomes the main economic source as people become old. With the rapid economic development, the population mobility between urban and rural area is more and more frequent. Thus, inter-provincial transfer of pension insurance is becoming more and more popular. However, there are some problems in practical dealing of inter-provincial transfer of pension insurance. It affects the insured person's legal rights, impedes the realization of pension insurance and restricts the mobility of people between different provinces. This paper attempts to analyze the status-quo of inter-provincial transfer of pension insurance to find out the problems in it. Then, it probes into the factors that impede the realization of inter-provincial transfer of pension insurance. Based on these, the paper tries to propose some recommendations. The paper is divided into five parts. Part 1 is to introduce the literature review and the significance of the research. Part 2 is to analyze the data of specific regions. Based on this, it tries to describe the status-quo of inter-provincial transfer of pension insurance and also point out the shortcomings. Part 3 is to analyze the questionare and probe into the factors that impede the realization of inter-provincial transfer of pension insurance. Part 4 is to compare the inter-provincial transfer of pension insurance abroad and at home, and find out the worthy experience. Part 5 is the conclusion. It proposes some recommendations.
