Study On Supplier Quality Management Of Boiler Island In Thermal Power Project

As global climate change increasingly effects people's life and work, the traditional power generation industry has faced more and more high pressure from environmental protection requirements, especially for those traditional coal-fired power units that the market is declining rapidly and the competition is very keen. Under this situation, enterprises have to reduce cost, to improve product's quality, and to enhance service ability for competitive advantage in the tough market environment. Non-core product and service outsourcing, establishing high efficiency, high quality and low cost supply chain are effective approaches for companies to get competitive advantage. Among which, improving supplier quality management level and establishing of high quality supplier network are key steps in the approach.Based on project management and supplier quality management theories, the thesis analyzes the features and main issues of supplier quality management of boiler island in the thermal power project, establishes the basic flow process of the supplier quality management system by process method. Meanwhile, the thesis elaborated supplier quality assessment, supplier selection method and quality contract issues in supplier selection process; supplier quality plan, supplier quality surveillance, non-conformance management, quality acceptance & release, quality document & records issues. Also, the project supplier quality performance measurement models and the basic structure of project supplier quality database were established. Finally, through the theory and method of project supplier quality management system and optimization of relevant key processes were successfully applied in B company, it proved the rationality and validity of the research results in this thesis.
