Research On The Support System Of Sustainable Tourism

Since the United Nations General Assembly in its development of the world famous environmental Brundtland report formally proposed the concept of sustainable development, protecting ecological environment and promoting sustainable tourism development has already become common targets and strategic choices of most countries over the world.Tourism is a new industry that is developing most vibrant and fastest in the world. Many unexpected problems, however, have been exposed gradually in the course of the development of tourism. Such as the serious environmental pollution, frequent tourism crises, threats to inhabitant benefit and traditional culture. These difficulties have hindered the tourism sustainable development; the most important thing is to set a support system. This support system of sustainable tourism includes three aspects: the direction is eco-tourism, the key is stakeholders and the basic condition is crisis management.On the basis of scientific development view and collecting documents and carrying on real investigation extensively, the theory of sustainable tourism has been carried on in-depth analysis in the paper. This article is composed by three parts: the first part is introduction on the basis of both domestic and international materials; the second part emphasizes theory analysis. In this part, I put forwards three essential factors of the support system: eco-tourism, community participation and tourism crisis management; the third part is case study.In the paper the sustainable tourism has been analyzed synthetically and some good recommendations on the policies of tourism industry have been proposed for its sustainable development. Based on the case study of Leshan city, this paper will be the most representative, demonstrative and motive in the sustainable tourism in the western China, and which will exert a great and far-reaching influence on the sustainable tourism in China.
