Study Of "The Tragedy Of Commos" In Rural Tourism

The community involved rural tourism ought to be future trend for it takes local resident into fully account and can increase their income and their employment opportunities. But in the process of community involved rural tourism development, phenomenon of "the tragedy of commons" such as environment degeneration and out-of-order dispute on limited resources is universal, which have negative impact on sustainable development of rural tourism.Based on New Institutional Economics and Public Goods Theory, this dissertation deems property rights is complex in rural tourism resource, which necessarily cause "the tragedy of commons"; based on theoretical studies and practical observations, this dissertation points out that "the tragedy of commons" appears in all sorts of forms, and it will weaken rurality and brand equity. Either the academicians or insiders agree corresponding institutions should be used to solve the problem of "the tragedy of commons".
