China Mobile, the outcome of Chinese telecom reform, separated from China Telecom in 1997, has seen a jumping increase in the amount of customers and operation profits in Chinese fast-growing economical tide. China Telecom was divided into the South part and the North part in 2001. China Mobile, the North one, has grown into the biggest corporation in Chinese telecom industry and its vision is to become a globalize corporation in future.Vodafone, the top telecom operator worldwide, is headquartered in Britain. It was registered in 1991 and only after ten years development it has obtained a very significant place in the world mobile telecom industry. In recent years, the business income climbs continuously, which makes them at a stage of high-speed development and keeps the strong increasing situation. Therefore, it has the significance in studying Vodafone's strategies and ideas on its developments. To the other companies, there is much they can use and learn from them.The author analyzes the financial statement data of both the China Mobile and Vodafone using accounting theories and the comparison analysis method. It is in an attempt to find out the differences between the two corporations and make further analysis on them. This provides several references for the future development of China Mobile Corporation and also gives some ideas to the other companies that want to run in an international mode.
