Research Of Developable Strategy In Chong Qing Research Institute Of Building Science

Construction industry is a basis mainstay industry, especially in the rapid development of China. This market is in it's very active and competitive phase, because construction is an important element of economic development. After China entried WTO, the opening of construction field is one of the content of the agreement. The opening field will include building engineering, investigation and design, real estate, construction inspection-test, city layout and engineering consultations in the construction field.We are coming to the later period of transition. According to the content of the agreement, construction engineering organizations must be independent and to be a third- party enterprise. So China innovated these science research institutes, changed them from the state-owned institutions to the state-owned enterprises. These enterprises will be put into the market, attend the competition. Since it finished the innovation in 2000, Chong qing Research Institute of Building Science(CRIBS) exploed some management experiences by itself. But how to establish it's own developing strategy when CRIBS is facing new opportunities and challenges ?After studying the history and the status of strategy management in the foreign and domestic field, the thesis researched some theories in the enterprise development strategy. In the analysis of the interior and exterior environment, the thesis expatiated the CRIBS's history and management field firstly. In the idiographic analysis phase, the thesis used VRIO model and five strength model to analysis the interior and exterior environment of the CRIBS, then used EFE and IFE matrix to summarize the analysis. Using SWOT matrix, the thesis analyzed the strength and weakness, opportunity and threat in the construction field. According to the result of analysis, the thesis chose the strategy aim of CRIBS, adjusted the resource, confirmed the building inspection-test and engineering surveillance as the the core field, established the diversified developing strategy in the construction field, designed the implementation of strategy in the compage of managing fields and system construction.
