Nowadays performance management has been recognized as one of most efficient method to improve the management of enterprises. Whatever the size of one company is, it will adopt performance management in its operation. Performance management exerts more and more influence on the development of enterprises.Though attaching much importance on it, enterprises find its application is far from being satisfied, especially those small IT companies. Many of them are lack of complete performance management system. Their so-called performance management involves punishment only. They believe objective can be achieved by punishment. But actually it turns out to be a barrel in the way of company's development.This thesis, aiming at GREAT Co as study objective, focuses on the study of GREAT's performance management. Guided under theory of system, objective management theory, stimulating theory and control theory, this thesis is to design one suitable performance management system for GREAT Co. so that the enterprises can operate efficiently.The purpose of this thesis is to solve the problems in performance management, so that the company's strategy can be realized smoothly. The remolding system ensures both GREAT and other similar companies improvement in this aspect.This set of new performance management emphasis systematic management, covers many sides :performance plan, fulfillment, evaluation and feedback, uses objective management &"3+1"theory, and stresses setting objective and negotiation.At the beginning, this thesis introduces content, objective and meaning of study. The second part discusses theory of performance management: its appearance, development and essential; analyze the study method of performance management.In part three, the thesis analyzes the current situation of GREAT Co.'s performance management, and point out that the lack of a set of scientific, complete performance management system generates the problems.Part four remolds performance management. Based on management by objective,"3+1"dialogue mode and reality of the company, this thesis remolds the old performance management system from the aspects of performance planning, performance fulfilling, performance evaluating, performance reflecting and applying.Part five demonstrates the validity of new performance management system by discussing its advantage, obstacle and resolution in operation.
