The main objective is to empirically study the benefits of rural labor transfer in Chongqing for economic development, to find the determining and restraint factors for rural labor transfer in Chongqing, and to put forward strategic plan and some policy recommendations.Based on the survey of relevant theoretical literature on rural labor transfer, this thesis paper analyses the status quo of rural labor transfer in Chonqing, and predicts the transfer scale in the future.
