Research Of Changzhutan Port System

To meet the needs of economic integration of Changzhutan, construction of Changzhutan port system is very significant. This paper deals with change and development of Changzhutan port system by means of investigation, qualitative analysis. The author applies port planning theory Economic geography theory, regional economics theory and market statistics to the analysis in this paper.First, base on the data of investigation, the influence caused by space structure, industry, traffic of Changzhutan city are analyzed. And the author analyses basis condition of Changzhutan port.Second, according to cargo-handling capacity of Changzhutan port since 1990, the author analyses development features, the cause of formation and changeTendency of space structure of Changzhutan port system by calculating Gini coefficient, HI index, port unbalance index and Regional difference index. Meanwhile, the paper analyses hierarchy structure of Changzhutan port system with R factor.Third, the author analyses development features, the cause of formation and change tendency of functional structure of Changzhutan port system by calculating location quotient, the coefficient of port labour division on the base of space structure analysis.Last, the author draws the conclusions that Changsha port is the center port of port system, and container terminal will be builded on Changsha port in future; Zhuzhou port and Xiangtan port are the assist port of port system, and scatter cargo terminal and bundle cargo terminal will be builded on Zhuzhou port and Xiangtan port.The research method is blazing new trails. Study results in this paper can provide scientific evidence and reference for general plan of Changzhutan port system.
