| This development plan is called the Chengdu Southward Ancient Shu-Kingdom Style Residential Project, and is a real one carried out by the Sichuan Xinhui Group company at Huayang Township, Shuangliu County. I have been engaged in this project for internship, participating in such activities as preparing, designing and drafting the plan. During the early days of the project we conducted market research, competition analysis. In the following, we design and draft the plan for understanding the present competitive situations, identify the market opportunities, and locate the positioning of the project according to which product design, marketing plan and sales decision are conducted. Besides, we have to staff the management team, analyze the economic feasibilities and risks of the project, with measures prepared in advance.The market research was conducted since February 2005, and having worked for three months assessing the location advantages of the plot, we identified an ancient SHU kingdom style townhouse as the project positioning in two development stages, with the first featuring SHU culture, and the second centering on Shu water, a symbolic of human-nature combining.
