Recycling Economy And The Sustainable Development Of Cities

Nowadys, the sustainable development of cities has become a hot issue for people's concern. The reason behind is that the problems of cities have become increasingly severe. The symptons are exhibited in the following ways: the entironment being severly damaged, the land being heavily impropriated, the soil being deteriorated, the unfavorable climate change and air pollution, the fresh water shortage and water pollution, dense population and shortage of green land. All these problems severly threatens human kind's health and the sustainable development of human society. However, the emergence of recycling economic theories seem to poit out the basic way to tackle the problems of cities. The development of recycling economy can solve the prolems of environmental pollution in cities, the severe waste and ecological issues in infrastructure construction; it can also stimulate the change of development pattern of city economies and rtealize the harmonious development of city economies and the society. Wheras the development and application of recycling economy in China is just at it's elementary stage, its application in the field of city sustainale development is especially under experiment.
