Peasant income has always been the problem that all levels of Party committee and government concern together, as the fact that TaiAn is an agricultural city, and peasants take the overwhelming majority in population. And it is also the key for the nation to fulfill the aim of well-off society and modernization whether peasant income can have a sustained, stable and rapid increase or not. The paper looked on the representative town and township enterprise and peasant income in the city as the main research contents, using the method of combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis, normativeness with real examples, made a serial of systematic analysis on the history and present situation of peasant income increase since the reform and opening-up especially in the 1990s, the influence of peasant income problem, and the countermeasure on increasing peasant income, etc. combining with the macro-situation of peasant income, and also put forward some reference suggestions.Since reform and opening-up, the peasant income in our country has increased a lot, but viewing from overall, growth rate demonstrated the difference in different period, especially in the middle and later of the 1990s, the growth of peasant income eased up, and the problem of peasant income was more outstanding.
