The Reality And Countermeasure Of Corporate Social Responsibility In China

With the reform and opening to the outside world and the development of socialist market economy system, the Corporate Social Responsibility is becomingmore and more an attention issue since 1980`s. The article not only studies the realityof corporate social responsibility in our country and current problems, but alsoanalyses the reasons of the questions and the ways to solve the problems. The authoradopts the methods of theoretical research, firstly summaries both here and abroadrelative studies, introduce the adopted concept of corporate social responsibility andthe theory foundation of analysis. Secondly, the author studies the reality of corporatesocial responsibility in our country and points out the problems. Absencehuman-oriented thought, environmental protection consciousness and seriousshort-term behavior are main problems. Thirdly, the author analyses the reasons of thequestions and the ways to solve the problems. The reasons include companies still inthe stage of accumulation of capital and do not apprehend the Corporate Social Responsibility, companies'related people are short of legal consciousness as well asevaluation and supervise system lag. Widely inducing the companies to build up theidea of corporate social responsibility, advancing the legal system of corporate socialresponsibility, setting up the evaluation system and perfecting the supervisemechanism will help to solve the problems. Finally, the author sums up the paper,looks into the future of corporate social responsibility in our country, points out the shortage of the paper and the direction of further research of the study.
