The problem of waste after consumption is a threat against social sustainable development. Based on the model of linear development, waste hasn't been processed appropriately for long time, and it has become an important factor of environmental problems. Efforts are made to solve the problem that is described in this thesis.There are five parts of the research.In the first part, the related work of societal marketing concept and green marketing are reviewed, which lead to bring waste processing into marketing research.In the second part, foreign and domestic status of waste processing are described. And it points out the gaps on waste processing between our country and other developed countries.In the third part, the environmental consciousness and behavior of domestic consumers are investigated and analyzed.The fourth part is the most important part of the thesis. It indicates the new method of waste processing, that is, we can set up a system which takes the enterprise as a center for waste processing. And in this part, the thesis expatiates on the solution of waste processing under the guidance of societal marketing concept.At last, the case of Fuji Xerox Ltd. and Motorola (China) Electronic Ltd. are given to show the feasibility that societal marketing concept can be realized by the enterprise through waste processing.Societal marketing concept is combined with waste processing in this paper. And that is applied to the practice.
