First the industry background and economical significance of this intelligent improvement in fixed-line telephone network are introduced. The competition between telecommunication companies is intensified with the unit reintegration. Also this competition has been shifted from achieving more advanced network techniques to achieving better the customer service quality. The network intelligent improvement can help companies to solve the current problems by the more efficient use of the pre-existing network resources. New functions and more business will be carried out more flexible, much safer and more efficient, with the application of the network optimization, resource reintegration and new technology introduction. The unique requirement from the customer will be met and the company can face the market challenges more actively, which will help the company to win the increasing competition and largely improve the quality of customer service and competition ability.
