CEDC Sustainable Development Strategy Research

This thesis makes objective and careful analysis of CEDC's operation situation, and offers some valuable suggestions to the sustainable development of the company, laying emphasis on strategic management, on the basis of theory research.Above all, it explains the meanings of enterprise strategy and management, levels of enterprise strategy, and describes modes of enterprise strategic management, and analyses the train of thought relevant to three processes of strategic management, and illustrates research methods in this thesis: SWOT—to analyze enterprise surroundings, Potter's five competitiveness principles—to analyze enterprise's industrial organization reasonably, apart from talking about the significance of strategic management to enterprise development, and the influence of situation both in and abroad to enterprise existence and development, and other points on which we will put importance on. Secondly, it analyzes internal conditions of CEDC from the aspect of organization, culture building, results, etc., besides introducing the company, to search inner advantages for the sustainable development strategy. Then it analyzes and evaluates the competition situation of the trade by Mike Potter's five competitiveness principles, together with overall analysis of macro environment of the company from the view of economic situation and trade development, to search outer advantage for the strategy. Finally, it works out the strategy, by SWOT, according to the rules of making use of external opportunities and internal advantages, getting rid of internal disadvantages and external threat. The thesis brings about CEDC's choice of sustainable development strategy and the concrete plans, after explaining the tasks of the company.
