Apple is one of the fruit-tree species with large production area and abundant yield in the world, having great potential space on the international market. China is the first largest apple producing country and important apple exporter around the world. Since entering the WTO, Chinese apple and its processed products, especially the apple juice concentrate, have showed their obvious advantages in the competition on the international market. It is one of the most potential industries in China to become the biggest and strongest industry around the whole world.Shaanxi is one of the biggest apple producing provinces as well as the apple preponderant industrial belt in China. Its area and output of apple have been up to 7.8% and 9.4% of whole world respectively, occupying an important status in the apple structure of world. Actually, the total output in Shaanxi has exceeded over the other apple producing countries in the world, such as America etc. and the apple industry has become the backbone industry of national economy of Shaanxi and the enrich-farmer industry as well. In order to enlarge and strengthen this industry as soon as possible, the party committee and the government of Shaanxi Province have successively issued a series of decisions, suggestions and policies on speeding up the development of apple industry and proposed the strategic objective of the famous brand in the world. With regarding to the strategic objective, enlarging the export trade as well as exploiting the international market of fresh apple and its processed product will be the direction and the only way to enlarge and strengthen this industry. Since China entered into the WTO, we must comply with the WTO contract on farm produce and the bilateral and multilateral trade contract signed between China and other member countries of WTO to reduce the fruit-import tariff in large scale and cancel a lot of non-tariff restriction of import, in addition, many main apple producing countries have the better marketing performance in the fruit market, obviously, all of these factors have brought challenges to the development of apple industry of China and Shaanxi.
