With the exasperation of competition among hospitality enterprises, human resource management is now faced with talent perplexity, especially in underdeveloped areas. Thus, the hotel resource management in Wuhu-- a medium-sized city in Anhui province , is chosen to be studied. Through a profound and overall investigation, the author endeavors to seek some countermeasures to improve the hotel human resource management system in Wuhu.This dissertation reviews the history of hotel resource managing and its status quo. On the basis of questionnaire and interviews with the administrative personnel and staff of hotels, a thorough investigation is done from the aspects of human resource structure, staff turnover, recruitment, remuneration, performance, training, incentive, employee satisfaction degree and corporate culture. Furthermore, through an analysis of the present situation of the human resource management, the main problems are pointed out. With the combination of theories and practices , the author has done some initiative research on the hotel human resource management system from the perspective of concepts and measures such as transforming the ideas, establishing the flexible management, bettering the functions of human resource management, adopting career planning and the win-win strategy.
