The Analysis Of County Economy Development Level In Sichuan Province And The Corresponding Suggestions

It is the fact that county economy is the principal unit of the national economy, which connects agriculture and village with industry and town. Therefore developing county economy is not only the contact point to eliminate poverty and backwards in the countryside and solve the problems about agriculture and peasants, but the crux to spur the process of both industrialization and urbanization in our province. The structure of county economy in shape of pyramid hinders so seriously that it is the critical challenge we are facing to build up the well-off and harmonious society.This thesis presents an empirical study on the economy of 172 counties in Sichuan province, which is based on the theory of regional economy, econometrics and industry economics. In the perspective of positive and normative economics, the author introduces the methodology of qualitative and quantitative analysis to constitute the integrated evaluation system of county economy.
