Entering the 21st century, the logistics will become the modern service industry of giving the basic power to the civil economy at the high jumping-off point and bringing revolutionary far-reaching influence to the integrative global economy. At present, the logistics industry grows fast but a series of limiting factors, and the motivation is the key point. Based on enhancing the employee satisfaction, it is a exploratory research for setting up a systemic motivation mechanism to inspirit every employee on mobilizing their enthusiasm and creativity to achieve the targets of the enterprise.This article consists of six parts in all. The fist part briefly explains the topic-selecting, the background, target and significance of the research. Then , it expatiates and analyses the progress of motivation theories on the basis of employee satisfaction. The third part pays more attention to the actualities of motivation in the logistics enterprises of China, points out the existing problems and mainly summarizes the typical characteristics of employee motivation in logistics enterprises. For the rapid development of logistics industry, the problem of deficient motivation will restrict its development in a certain extent, the enterprises should envisage it and try their best to solve it. The fourth part concludes the main factors which influence employee satisfaction in the logistics enterprises on the basis of theory researches and demonstration analysis of employee satisfaction questionnaires and demanding interviews. The fifth part deals with a motivation mechanism to satisfy the employees of logistics enterprises, including setting up a scientific salary and welfare system, intensifying the staff training, establishing an enterprise culture and building up a rational assessment system for the employees performance at work. The last part obtains the conclusions, and gives out the farther problems of research.
