The Study On The Development Of The Logistic Industry In Ningbo

Modern logistics is a synthetic system, which covers over several industries, departments and fields. Originally, it provides the traditional service as purchasing, transporting and keeping something in a storehouse. Nowadays, it has developed into synthetic logistic service based on modern technology, management and IT. The importance of logistics has been emphasized by governments of many countries and areas all over the world, especially on the field of developing economics, investment environment and the competitive ability of enterprises.With the entering into WTO and the developing of modern logistic theory, the logistics in China has been charged from transportation into logistics. Ningbo as an important component part of the Yangtze River Delta economy, the national economy has developed rapidly in recent years, and adds one of the four key international transit hub port— Ningbo Port ,that provides a rare condition for the development of modern logistics industry. To standardize Ningbo logistics industry, promote the modern logistics industry faster and better development, Ningbo municipal party committee formally promulgated the "Ningbo City, the development of modern logistics planning" (hereinafter referred to as the " planning ") in 2003, Ningbo will become an important part of Shanghai International Shipping Center, the international logistics hub in the Yangtze River Delta and an important integrated logistics center in Zhejiang in 10 to 15 years.Ningbo has been building "the international logistics hub in the Yangtze River Delta," as one of the direction of the future logistics industry. But It should be recognized that all countries, various have a big difference in the development of logistics when economic geography, level of economic development and industrial structure are different. So Ningbo should develop the logistics according to its own city, for providing the impetus at a high level for the future economic.
