The Analysis Of The Development Course Of Chinese National Insurance Industry In History

The course of the development and Reform of National Insurance Industry is a history of its self-improvement and development under the new historical conditions. 1865 the birth of the first national insurance company marks the end of a monopoly situation of foreign insurance companies in China's insurance market. Until the founding of new China, the development of National Insurance Industry was difficult because of the competition from foreign insurance companies. After the founding of new China, along with the continuous deepening of reform and opening up, especially after its accession to the WTO, China's foreign and domestic socio-economic environment has undergone tremendous changes. In the new historical conditions,how to redefine and reinterpret the concept of National Insurance Industry and how to how to improve the comprehensive competitiveness of national insurance companies becomes a focus of present and in the future.In this paper, based on the redefine of the concept of "National Insurance Industry", the author summarizes and exposits the history, the features and the causes of the development of the National Insurance Industry, and then gives an expectation and analysis of the prospects and development trends of the National Insurance Industry.
