Research On Situation Analysis And Capability Evaluation Of Enterprise's Technology Innovation In Our Country

The enhancement of enterprise's technology innovation (ETI) capability not only helps enterprise increase its core competence to adapt to the changeful environment, but also helps our country to increase its national competence. In order to enhance ETI capability, enterprises should build a well technology innovation(TI) system, increase the TI input and be active in TI activities, and at the same time, it is essential for the government to play a role of leading, make effective policies and build good environment. Therefore, it is necessary to collect and study on ETI-related data, cases and policies in order to know the current situation and trend of ETI. In order to make the above-mentioned work more convenient and more efficient, this thesis did research on situation of Chinese enterprise's technology innovation (SCETI)'s analysis, combining the project from National Ministry of Science and Technology"ETI's International Comparison Database (ETIICD)".Firstly, the thesis discussed some basic concepts of TI and ETI, analysed ETI's influence on the economic and social development and the importance and necessity of improving our ETI capability. After that, using Chinese large & middle-scale industrial enterprises'data from the year 1992 to 2003, the thesis analysed the current situation and trend of Chinese ETI from the aspects of the enterprises'TI input, technology import and purchase, TI activities status, TI output, innovation benefit. Using the data of 2003, we compared the different status of ETI of different provinces. The research indicates that the Chinese enterprises have a persistent increase in ETI input , output as well as ETI activities and benefits, but the gap in ETI between provinces is great. Finally, the thesis designed an ETI evaluation index system to estimate and analyse the Chinese provinces'ETI capability. The analysis result can offer some advices to the related government. The result of this thesis, as an important part of the research achievements of ETIICD, has been generally approbated by the National Ministry of Science and Technology.
