Design of compensation system is precondition and important part that establish modern compensation management system. It is important course of human resource management and development also. The main tasks of human resource management and development are attracting, stabilizing, training, using, inspiring talents and increasing economic benefits. At the same time, talents work harder to realizable the objects of organization. An efficient compensation system is interrelating with the tasks.In this thesis, the author studied the compensation management system of W Design Institute, by investigating the compensation system of the design institute, deeply analyzing the problems of the compensation management of the design institute. And based on the procedure of compensation system design, the author put forward some solutions of the compensation system design in accordance with the strategy of development and the actual situation of the design institute. Have taken enough account of the design institute's developing status at present after systematically illustrated the issues of designing the compensation system in all kind of the employee.The thesis divides into four parts. The first part mainly discussed the background for selecting subjects, the subject of research, present research situation in domestic and foreign, proposed the research technique and the general frame of this thesis. The second part brief introduced Motivation theories. It also researched the essence, functions, and influence factors, the constitution of compensation system, basic forms, and basic principles and so on. Under the Compensation theory and the Motivation theory, the third part has redesigned the compensation systems on the basis of analysis of the design institute's history and developing strategy as well as original compensation systems. It concludes questionnaire diagnoses before the compensation system design, talking about many employees, analyzing employees' satisfaction assessment, focused on the essential problem in the design institute 's original compensation system; secondly, for the compensation target of design institute, using precise and qualitative analysis, planed a series of new, but concrete policies for the compensation system of design institute. Then experts adopt statistics and analyzing methods to takes the gauge of the post, establishing the main factor system of post. Evaluate the foundation top of the result in the post; then made use of again the analysis method to design the post compensation system; lastly, designed the Flexible benefits programs. The last part summarized and evaluated the reasonable aspects and limitations of new compensation system, and put forward the future scheme.
