Research On Effect Of Intergraded And Popularized Project In The Way Of Participation In Arid And Half-arid Regions

Increasing problems take place in arid and half-arid regions such as ShanXi province, middle area of East GanSu and East QingHai province because of the objective contradiction between development of economy and maintenance of environment. These problems include lag of benefit of ecological maintenance and the fact that spoiling and maintenance to environment almost occur simultaneously. This paper put forward a kind of technique to renew and maintain environment by constructing regional agricultural holocoen. It has been approved to have great benefits to those needy farmer and persistent development after actual application in BeiGuoYuan village of Huan County in East GanSu. The technique adopts some basic concepts, procedures, and methods that are characterized by development in the way of participation and theory of agricultural popularization. It is guided by theory of grassland agriculture holocoen. Besides, method on advanced item management used by international organization such as World Bank is also adopted and used for reference, so do some successful experiences of support poverty in china. Actual application in the village used to be tested showed that there has been a coveraged of wood and grasslangd in crease of 13. 3 percent and land productivty as heightened up to 187 Yuan aunit of area and cash income and net income drawn by of farmer has in increased 105. 9 percent and 82 percent respectively with more factors to make a profit. Therefore, village community economy could develop sufficiently and the intention of support poverty could be reached well with the effect of system function. Practice indicates that it is feasible to construct grassland agriculture holocoen through item integration and popularization in the way of participation. It is helpful and significant to those people who engage in agriculture or work in the department responsible to support poverty.
