Research On Suppler Selection

This dissertation mainly discusses the question of selecting suppliers for manufacturers. It analyses those factors which affect the selection of suppliers and are good for the competence of supply chain.Suppliers are classified into two sorts: ordinary supplier and fellowship supplier. This paper supplies different index system for each sort of suppliers. As about the selection of ordinary suppliers, we create linear model and absorb the theories of AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and Delphi to help made the decision of supplier selection. We also give example and use Excel work it out. As about fellowship suppliers, we give another index system which involves these factors: product, organization and information. This index system covers the factors which are necessary in supply chain management. Then the meaning and the method of creating the data are explained in detail. With the help of AHP theory, based on the index system, we explain the detailed processes of how to choose fellowship suppliers, and example is also showed.
