Research On Applying Of Six Sigma In System Integration Process

Aiming at the problem how to manage system integration process efficiently, by use of reference of research product on six sigma management, making use of the idea of targeting high, continuance improvement and making decision by facts, combining research on lifecycle model of project, and according to the basis and its technology characteristic, considering the likelihood difficulty in process management process, the process model of system integration based on six sigma management is put forward in this paper. The model is used in the project"Digital Technology Applying System", a large project on system integration supported by The National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program).According to the process of DFSS(Design For Six Sigma),the six sigma method is used in the process of system integration to analyze the problem existed in the carry-out system, seek the reason for designing and optimizing, and control the process. The effect is showed in the end. We regard mathematical method and tool as an efficient approach of data collecting, analyzing and decision making in the use of six sigma, the applying of it can provide us a way in pursuit of the target of 3.4DPMO(Defect Per Million Opportunity), making decision by data and facts. Because of application of six sigma, the complex system integration process of the project can run in a smooth way, and settle a basement to achieve the goal of the project all right.
